Santo Domingo.- The National Coordinator of Motorcycle Taxi Drivers (COORDINAMOTO) and the Santo Domingo Norte City Council held a working meeting to coordinate the details for the launch of the Regulation Plan for the motorcycle taxi service.
During the meeting, both parties agreed to recognize the payments corresponding to land use permits collected during the previous municipal administration, which had not yet been delivered to the sector’s workers.

Likewise, they ratified their willingness to maintain a permanent working group to provide continuity to the process of regulation, organization, and formalization of the service.
The coordinator valued the willingness shown by the municipal authorities and highlighted that this institutional alliance will allow for the promotion of a more organized, safe, and efficient service, for the benefit of drivers, users, and all the citizens of Santo Domingo Norte.
