The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, August 21, as follows:
In Financial Entities, the euro selling rate closed the day at RD$69.93 pesos per euro, while the buying rate stood at RD$65.64 pesos.
Compared to the rates from a month ago (Buy: RD$65.77; Sell: RD$69.69), the local currency records a monthly appreciation of 0.20% in the buy rate and a depreciation of -0.34% in the sell rate.
For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported a purchase rate of RD$67.04 pesos and a sale rate of RD$69.06 pesos per euro at the close of the previous day.
In this segment, the local currency depreciated by -0.46% in buying and -0.29% in selling compared to the values from a month ago (when the buying rate was at RD$66.73 and the selling rate at RD$68.86).
