Santo Domingo. – The Olé supermarket chain announced this Thursday the temporary closure of its branch located on Jacobo Majluta, after a fire outbreak was reported at its facilities.
Through a statement, the company explained that the branch will remain closed until further notice while the corresponding evaluations are carried out and a safe return to operations is guaranteed.
Olé confirmed that the incident resulted in no human casualties and highlighted that the safety of its customers, collaborators, and visitors is its top priority.
Likewise, he indicated that he maintains permanent coordination with the authorities and emergency agencies to complete the necessary work before reopening the establishment.

In the statement, Olé expressed gratitude for the rapid intervention of the Santo Domingo Norte Fire Department and surrounding areas, as well as the support provided by the National Police, entities whose actions allowed the situation to be brought under control.
