The CEO of FEDA, Hecmilio Galván, expressed his commitment to the development of the communities of the South and highlighted the importance of preserving the mountains of Padre Las Casas and the entire country.In addition, the head of FEDA thanked the significant support of the Technical Executive Unit for Agroforestry Development Projects of the Presidency (UTEPDA) in the area. The activity marked the beginning of 17 simultaneous events held over two consecutive days in the region, reaffirming FEDA’s commitment to sustainable development, agricultural production, and the improvement of the living conditions of producers. In the 8th Route of Compostela, The FEDA in your Community took place; Ecology Workshops and donation of Tools; Saving the Mountains Plan; Training for young farmers, through the Emprende RD program. With this delivery, the FEDA continues to promote the rebirth of Dominican coffee, fostering production, reforestation, and the generation of sustainable income in the mountainous areas of the country.“May God bless Padre Las Casas, this is a historic town, of tradition, social struggle and that represents a light in the mountains. It is a gateway to these mountains that we have to save and protect, because life, wealth, well-being and above all the development of the country depend on them.
