Santo Domingo.– The political leader Guillermo Moreno publicly reacted to a joke made by the comedian Carlos Sánchez during the most recent edition of the Soberano Awards, generating debate on social media. During his routine at the ceremony, Sánchez compared his losses in the Comedian of the Year category to the electoral attempts of Moreno, who has run for the presidency of the Republic on several occasions. “Do you know what it feels like to be the Guillermo Moreno of humor?”, the comedian expressed, provoking laughter among the attendees. The response from the leader of the Alianza País party was immediate. Through a video posted on his Instagram account, Moreno sent a direct message to the comedian, showing his disagreement with the comparison and defending his political career.
