San Pedro de Macorís.– Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which a nurse was found dead inside her home, located in the Restauración sector, in the San Pedro de Macorís province.
The deceased was identified as Adalmaris Campo Quezada, known among family and friends as “Baba”, who worked as a nurse at the Doctor Antonio Musa Regional Teaching Hospital.
According to preliminary information, the body of the health professional was found Wednesday afternoon in one of the rooms of her residence. So far, the authorities have not reported the cause of her death.

Agents of the National Police and personnel from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) arrived at the scene, where they carried out the corresponding removal and initiated investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident.
The authorities indicated that the case remains under investigation, so it is expected that further details regarding the outcome of the inquiries will be provided in the coming hours.
