La Romana, D.R. –A 62-year-old man passed away while he was in a hotel room located in the Villa Verde sector, in an event that has caused great commotion among residents and those close to him.
The victim was identified as Tony Díaz Marrero, 62 years old, whose body was recovered by authorities at the Hotel Rosal, located on Pedro A. Lluberes street in this city.
According to preliminary information, Díaz Marrero had ingested a sexual stimulant minutes before being accompanied by a woman inside the room, where the unfortunate event subsequently occurred.
After completing the required procedures, the authorities handed over the body to their relatives for the wake and subsequent burial.

According to accounts obtained at the scene, Tony Díaz Marrero was a merchant mariner and ship captain, in addition to being a widely known person in various circles of the La Romana community.
Meanwhile, the woman who was with the deceased at the time of the incident was detained for investigation purposes, with the aim of clarifying the exact circumstances in which the death occurred.
