La Vega, D.R.– Héctor Amaury de la Cruz, alias “Pelotero”, 54 years old, was arrested by members of the Regional Sub-directorate of Investigations (DICRIM) of the National Police, who was wanted by the justice system through an arrest warrant pending since 2016.
The detainee was located and arrested by investigative agents in compliance with judicial order No. 2910/2016, issued by the Judicial District of La Vega, for his alleged participation in a case of aggravated robbery.
According to the police report, the warrant was issued for violation of articles 379, 385, and 386 of the Dominican Penal Code, provisions that sanction theft and its aggravating circumstances, to the detriment of citizen Yonersi Heriberto Sánchez Rosario.

Following his arrest, the accused was placed in police custody and will be referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
