Senator Aneudy Ortiz met with Luis Abinader to promote the completion of works in San José de Ocoa

San José de Ocoa. – After a meeting held with the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, Senator Aneudy Ortiz Sajiun announced important progress in key projects for the development of the province, highlighting road works and the start of tests of the Ocoa–Sabana Larga Dual Aqueduct, which will also benefit the Municipal District of Nizao.

Prioritized road projects In the meeting, Senator Ortiz Sajiun managed the reactivation and progress of several fundamental works for the connectivity and economic development of the province: • Padre Luis Quinn Ecological Corridor Road Section, vital for ecological tourism and interprovincial communication. • El Limón–Ocoa Road Section, which will improve the mobility of communities and the transportation of agricultural products. • El Pinar Road Section and its high zone, essential to strengthen the agricultural production of the mountainous area. One of the most important points of the meeting was the confirmation that in the coming weeks the final tests of the Ocoa-Sabana Larga Dual Aqueduct will begin, a long-awaited project that will benefit more than 70% of the province’s population, offering a definitive solution to the historical problem of water scarcity.
