The restoration of the visa to Gonzalo is a prelude to a “no go” this Friday.
Santo Domingo.- The communicator Eduardo Martínez stated this Wednesday that the recent reinstatement of the US visa to former presidential candidate Gonzalo Castillo could be a preliminary sign of a possible favorable judicial ruling in the process faced by the political leader.
During his intervention, Martinez maintained that various political and judicial events recorded in recent days would be related and would respond to power moves within the national political scene.
“We are on the threshold of a no-contest ruling in favor of Gonzalo Castillo”, expressed the communicator, referring to the judicial process involving the former official.
Furthermore, he considered that the decision by the US authorities to reinstate Castillo’s visa sends a message with both political and judicial implications.
“The Embassy is making it clear that it will not lend itself to sullying the image of a political figure for circumstantial interests”, stated Martinez.
