San Francisco de Macorís.– Doctor Wilber Polanco was arrested again on Monday afternoon, shortly after obtaining his release through the payment of a financial bond, due to a new court order linked to another investigation.
The new arrest took place in the vicinity of the Vista al Valle Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR), where agents from the Specialized Directorate for Attention to Women and Intrafamily Violence (Deamvi) executed the arrest warrant as the physician was leaving the penitentiary facility.
Polanco had remained in custody due to a complaint related to an alleged incident involving a Haitian citizen in the municipality of Las Guáranas, Duarte province.
