”I am a circus”; Ada Ledesma Ubiera suffers a fall when appearing at a hearing in the Senasa case

Santo Domingo.– Prior to the hearing to consider a request for a variation of coercive measure in the case of the alleged embezzlement at the National Health Insurance (Senasa), the defendant Ada Ledesma Ubiera, who is part of those accused in the process, was the protagonist of an unusual moment this afternoon in the Second Chamber of the Court of Appeal.

Ledesma Ubiera, who is facing charges along with others involved in the so-called Operation Cobra, arrived at the court for the session in which a request to modify the coercive measures initially imposed on him would be heard. Upon entering the building, Ledesma Ubiera said out loud: “I am a circus”.
