La Romana.- A total of 354 portions of alleged cocaine, 59 portions of alleged marijuana, three portions of a rocky material presumably crack, and a cell phone were seized during a joint operation carried out in the Culo de Maco, Río Dulce, Río Salado, and San Carlos sectors of this province.
The intervention was led by agents from the Eastern Regional Sub-Directorate of Investigation (Dicrim), in coordination with the La Romana Provincial Division of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and the Public Ministry.

As a result of the operation, two people were arrested, who were found to have a total of 789.3 grams of a white powder presumably cocaine, 787.6 grams of presumed marijuana, 1.2 grams of a rocky material presumably crack, as well as a cell phone.
Both the detainees and the evidence were placed at the disposal of the DNCD for the corresponding legal purposes and their subsequent submission to justice.
