Santiago.- Adelson Manuel Pérez, alias “Vegano”, who was actively sought for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery, surrendered voluntarily after joint actions of police persecution, intelligence, and public dissemination of his image.
Pérez is listed with arrest warrant No. 2025-AJ0021960, accused of having committed an armed robbery against a citizen at a lottery booth, located in the municipality of Villa González. He admitted to having committed the act along with another individual who is being actively sought.
The delivery took place on the morning of this Friday, when the accused was presented by a journalist to the office of General Juan Bautista Jiménez Reinoso, who assured that all his rights will be respected in accordance with the law.
Adelson Manuel Pérez, alias “Vegan”, remains in police custody and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the start of the corresponding legal process.
The search for the accomplice continues and they are urged to surrender.
