Texas oil falls more than 5% following the peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran

New York.- The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) falls 5.30%, to 80.38 dollars a barrel, after the United States and Iran reached a peace agreement to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

At 09:00 local time (13:00 GMT), WTI futures contracts for July, the benchmark crude in the United States, were down 4.50 dollars from the previous day’s close. EFE
