Brad Pitt breaks the mold in the fashion industry with a new line of biodegradable clothing

American actor and film producer Brad Pitt breaks the mold in the fashion industry by announcing the launch of his new biodegradable clothing line under the debut collection called “The Elysian Collection”, which will have its world premiere this summer.

“This collection is vibrant, exciting and introduces a new dimension to our line”, Pitt stated in a press release. 

The biodegradable clothing collection is presented as completely unisex, a trend that is increasingly common (and welcome) in luxury fashion. The colors seem to come from a Mediterranean postcard: white, cream, earth tones, sunshine yellow, sky blue and olive green. Some pieces are enlivened with a sporty stripe.

It is recalled that in 2019, the actor joined Sat Hari Khalsa, a natural energetic and creative healer, to found God’s True Cashmere, a luxury brand with 100% pure cashmere shirts, adorned with semi-precious stone buttons aligned with the chakras. Regarding this new collection, Sat Hari adds: “I am inspired by this new adventure of the brand. We have focused on expressing our version of what a luxury linen garment could be. There is a natural evolution from our cashmere line, which includes familiar bodies, precious stones and a focus on holistic qualities, which I believe will connect with our client.”

Although it all sounds very exclusive, God’s True Cashmere already has an enviable distribution network: Neiman Marcus, Mytheresa, Farfetch, Mr Porter, and Bergdorf Goodman. Last year they even tried their luck in France with a pop-up store at Le Bon Marché, one of the Parisian temples of good taste.
