Santo Domingo.– Cuban actor Mario Cimarro, known for his leading roles in successful soap operas such as Pasión de gavilanes and El cuerpo del deseo, has once again publicly denounced that he was blacklisted by the Telemundo network, a situation that, as he claims, has prevented him from participating in the broadcaster’s productions for several years.

“The veto is illegal in the United States. Gata Salvaje is an example of diversity. They wanted to replace us and they couldn’t. Cimarro maintains that the network stopped hiring him after he reported alleged irregularities related to the payment of one of his castmates during a production. So far, Telemundo has not issued a public response regarding the actor’s most recent statements.
