A Turkish F-16 fighter jet crashed Wednesday in Yalova province, Turkey, while conducting a training flight, according to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
Numerous ambulances and medical teams were dispatched to the crash site following the incident, according to local media reports.
The pilot managed to eject from the aircraft in time and survived the crash, the Defense Ministry confirmed.
Authorities said an investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the accident.
