Marileidy Paulino finishes fourth in the 200 meters of the Diamond League in Lausanne

Santo Domingo. – Dominican sprinter Marileidy Paulino took fourth place in the 200-meter dash during the Diamond League stop held this Wednesday in Lausanne, Switzerland, within the prestigious Athletissima meeting.

Paulino clocked 22.43 seconds, in a race won by American Brittany Brown (22.23), followed by Nigerian Favour Ofili (22.31) and Ivorian Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith (22.37). Beyond the specific result, the test served for the Olympic and world champion to refine technical details and measure her pure speed with a view to the 400-meter dash, her specialty.
