Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) announced the reassignment of two games corresponding to previously suspended dates due to the effects of tropical storm Melissa, which will be played on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

According to the new calendar, the Gigantes del Cibao will face the Leones del Escogido at 7:30 PM at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, in a game that corresponds to the postponed match on October 17. Meanwhile, the Águilas Cibaeñas will visit the Estrellas Orientales at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in San Pedro de Macorís, also at 7:30 p.m., in a game that had been postponed on October 21. LIDOM reiterated its commitment to the safety of players, fans, and support staff, indicating that the new dates were established after the improvement of weather conditions and coordination with the relevant authorities.
