RD names its twelve players for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025

Santo Domingo. – The Dominican Basketball Federation (FEDOMBAL) announced this Wednesday the official list of the 12 players who will represent the country in the FIBA AmeriCup 2025, a tournament that will be held in Managua, Nicaragua, from August 22 to 31.

The tricolor team, considered one of the powers in the region, will be led by experienced figures and young talents who will seek to place the national flag at the top.

The Dominican team was made up of:

Gelvis Solano
Eloy Vargas
Andrés Félix
Jean Montero
Ángel Delgado
David Jones
Joel Soriano
Jassel Pérez
Juan Miguel Suero
Ángel Núñez
Juan Guerrero

The team will be led by the Argentinian coach Néstor “Che” García, who has the support of his assistants David Díaz and Abraham Disla.

“We have a balanced group, with players of international experience and young people who are at a great level. Our goal is to compete with character and seek one of the medals in this important continental event”, expressed García.

The AmeriCup 2025 will bring together the best national teams of the continent in a tournament that awards prestige and points in the FIBA ranking.
