Cristian Casablanca and Mr. Jiménez declare themselves ready and promise victory at “Night of Fights”

SANTO DOMINGO. – Cristian Casablanca and Mr. Jiménez assured they are in top form and confident of coming out victorious when they face each other in the “Night of Fights” card, an event that will combine professional boxing and influencers on February 21st at the Carlos Teo Cruz Coliseum.

The evening is organized by the company Shuan Boxing, chaired by the businesswoman Bélgica Peña, in collaboration with Capricornio TV. During the press conference held at the Central Boxing Gym, both protagonists showed absolute confidence in their aspirations. Cristian Casablanca, artistic name of Adrián Donato Salcedo, affirmed that he is in optimal physical and mental conditions to prevail in the fight agreed to five rounds, which will occupy the stellar turn within the influencer segment. Furthermore, he announced that after overcoming this challenge, he will seek to face the urban merengue singer Omega (Antonio Peter de la Rosa), whom he also said he could defeat. For his part, Mr. Jiménez (Yariel Jiménez) responded firmly, assuring that his rival will not surpass the second round, further raising the expectation among followers and organizers.

Interim world title at stake

Beyond the clash between digital figures, the fight card will feature as its main attraction a fight for the Interim World Title endorsed by the World Boxing Association (WBA), in the 122-pound category over 12 rounds. Dominican Noel Reyes, originally from La Vega and based in Tokyo, Japan, will face Victor Santillan, representing La Romana, in a duel that promises a high level of competition.

Seven fights in total

The programming includes seven professional fights. Among them, the match between Freudi Franco, from San Cristóbal, and Ángel Rosa, from Santiago, stands out. Also, Elvis del Castillo will step into the ring against Kermin Jiménez (147 pounds, six rounds); José Luis de los Santos against Juan Alcántara (122 pounds, eight rounds); and Rodrigo Marte, from Santo Domingo, against the Mexican Leonardo Vieyra in the 122-pound category. As a striking element of the event, two short boxers, Óscar Sexi and Apa la Para, both from Santo Domingo, will star in a special three-round fight.
