SANTO DOMINGO. – The archers from Mexico took the gold medal in Archery by defeating Colombia 6-0 in the mixed recurve team event.

The Mexicans, composed of Alejandra Valencia and Matías Grande, showed dominance from start to finish, winning all three rounds without giving the Colombians, composed of Ana María Rendón and Santiago Arcila, any chance to recover.
The bronze was won by Cuba with Larissa Pagán and Hugo Franco by defeating Panama’s Gisela Cowan and Liborio Saavedra 5-1, dominating the last two rounds after tying in the first.
This is Mexico’s first gold in archery at the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
