Cristiano Ronaldo hints at his departure from Al Nassr: “This chapter has ended”

Sports writing (EFE).- Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo posted a message on his social media on Monday in which he hinted at his departure from Al Nassr with the phrase “this chapter has ended”, after the last match of the season with a 3-2 defeat against Al Fateh in the Saudi league.

“This chapter has ended. The story? It’s still being written. Grateful to everyone,” wrote the former footballer of the Portuguese Sporting, the English Manchester United, the Spanish Real Madrid, and the Italian Juventus, who is concluding his contract with the Saudi team, which he joined in January 2023.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored against Al Fateh his 99th goal with Al Nassr, his twenty-fifth goal of this season, in which he was proclaimed top scorer of the domestic competition. Throughout his career he already has 936.

The team led by Italian Stefano Pioli ends ‘blank’ this season, in addition to having missed out on a place in the Asian Champions League and finishing in third place in the Saudi League with 70 points.
