San Pedro de Macorís. – The young fourth-year resident doctor in anesthesiology, Dauni Pacheco Castillo, reported having been the victim of an irregular and violent raid on his residence, carried out by heavily armed police officers around 5:30 a.m.
According to reports, the action was carried out on the orders of the prosecutor of El Seibo, Sugeidi Guilamo Cedano, and during the procedure the agents broke locks and doors of his home, in addition to pointing weapons of war at him, without showing him any legal documentation justifying the intervention.
The doctor assured that the hit-and-run has left him with emotional sequelae and that he demands a public apology from the authorities for what he described as a violation of his fundamental rights.

He also denounced that he was not allowed to call his lawyer and questioned that the public force acts in this way without exhausting the proper investigation processes.

manifestó.
The case has generated concern in the medical community and in social sectors of San Pedro de Macorís, who are asking for a clear explanation from the authorities and respect for citizens’ rights in judicial proceedings.
