GABANGI 2025: Gala Premier will celebrate the excellence of Caribbean art and presents its Top Ten of outstanding artists

Punta Cana. – The Abreu Museum and the International Contemporary Art Club GABANGI have the honor of inviting the artistic, business, and cultural community to the Gala Premier of Gabangi 2025, the most anticipated contemporary art event in Punta Cana. This is an unmissable event for lovers of creativity, aesthetics, and culture in the region. The gala will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 7:00 pm at the Abreu Museum, marking the formal start of the Gabangi 2025 International Contemporary Art Fair, which will run until December 17th. During this opening night, a tribute will be paid to the protagonists of the Top Ten Gabangi 2025, an exclusive selection that brings together the most influential and promising artists of contemporary Caribbean art.

Julietta Prissell Also, the public will be able to enjoy the great collective Gabangi 2025, which will present works by Brenda Pérez, Ivelisse De León, Mariano Sánchez, Víctor Martínez, Pablo Palasso, Juan Andújar, Benjamín Cruz, Luigi Jiménez, Antonio Guadalupe and Melchor Terrero, among other notable creators.

Each of these artists brings a unique voice to the contemporary visual landscape, with works that overflow with emotion and experimentation. From expressionism to new figurative and abstract currents, their works reveal the richness, energy, and diversity of contemporary Caribbean art.

“Art has the power to transform and connect cultures; Gabangi is the living expression of that spirit,” highlighted artist Oscar Abreu, curator and director of the fair. During the fair, the special edition of GG Magazine, dedicated to the Top Ten Gabangi, will also be presented. The magazine will include critical essays, exclusive interviews, and a tribute to Caribbean talent, reaffirming the project’s commitment to the dissemination and recognition of regional art in the international arena.
