A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off the coast of Indonesia on Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The epicenter was located approximately 62 kilometers northwest of Ende, on the island of Flores, and about 162 kilometers east-northeast of Labuan Bajo. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
So far, no deaths or material damage have been reported. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether a tsunami warning has been issued following the earthquake.
