Los Alcarrizos.- Agents of the National Police and the Public Ministry dismantled a clandestine factory of adulterated beverages that operated at Km 14 of Los Alcarrizos, where they seized more than 1,300 bottles of alcoholic beverages, two manufacturing machines, dozens of gallons of alcohol and wine, 60,000 contraband cigarettes, a vehicle, and other supplies used for the illegal production and commercialization of these products.
n” “nThe intervention was carried out by agents of the institution’s Merchandise Traffic Investigation Division, through the execution of search warrant No. 2026-AJ0039110, issued by a competent judge of the Judicial District of Santo Domingo Oeste, at a residence located on Street 6 of the aforementioned sector. During the operation, Rafael Pichardo Sánchez, 40, a resident of the intervened property, was arrested.
n” “nAt the scene, authorities found a clandestine laboratory dedicated to the manufacture and repackaging of adulterated alcoholic beverages, seizing 24 large bottles of wine, several containers of alcohol, 17 boxes of alcoholic beverages in various presentations, 18 additional boxes found inside a van used for transporting the merchandise, as well as a large quantity of empty bottles, caps, security seals, labels, and other supplies used in the illicit process.
