Santo Domingo, DR. – The Emergency Operations Center (COE) reported this Tuesday that maritime conditions on the Caribbean coast have shown improvement, according to the latest bulletin from the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET).
The agency indicated that small, fragile, and medium-sized vessels must continue to navigate with caution in the stretch between Isla Beata, in Pedernales, and La Ciénaga, in Barahona, because adverse conditions could still be recorded in that area.
While, for the rest of the Caribbean coast, authorities indicated that maritime operations can be carried out more normally, always taking the corresponding preventive measures and avoiding unnecessary distance from the coast.

The COE urged fishermen, boat operators, and the general public to remain attentive to official information issued by INDOMET and to follow recommendations to prevent any incidents at sea.
