3 months of pre-trial detention for man accused of murdering elderly man for 200 pesos in Santiago
Santiago.- The judge of the Permanent Attention Office of the Judicial District of Santiago, Yiberty Polanco, imposed this Tuesday three months of preventive detention as a coercive measure against Starling Javier Ronaldo Cepeda, alias El “Locotrón” accused of murdering an elderly man who refused to give him 200 pesos in an event that occurred in the municipal district of Los Cocos de Jacagua.
According to investigations, Cepeda, 31 years old, attacked the victim, identified as Enrique Rafael Hernandez, 70 years old, with a stick and then with a knife, who died from the injuries received.
