The family does not know if Fadlin Charles had conflicts with anyone
Santiago.- The family of the 17-year-old teenager of Haitian descent, Fadlin Charles, demanded justice and answers from the authorities this Saturday after the young man was gunned down by unknown individuals in the Los Salados sector, in a crime whose circumstances and perpetrators have yet to be clarified.
The incident occurred at the corner of 0 and 13 streets, where, according to relatives, the teenager had been chased by several people before being caught and shot to death.
Juliana Toussaint, the victim’s sister, recounted through her pain that she received a phone call informing her that her brother had been killed.
“They called me and told me they killed him on 13th Street. They told me they were chasing him, but I don’t know what happened,” she expressed, visibly affected.

The woman stated that she does not know if Fadlin Charles had conflicts with anyone and demanded a thorough investigation to establish what really happened and who was responsible for taking his life.
For his part, Francisco Paris, the teenager’s uncle, expressed the family’s indignation and warned that they will not allow the young man’s death to go unpunished.
They call for accelerating the investigations
The relatives demanded that the National Police and the Public Ministry accelerate the investigations, identify those responsible, and bring them to court to answer for the murder.
So far, the authorities have not offered official information regarding the identity of the attackers or the possible motive for the crime.
