At least four people were injured Wednesday morning after a fire, reportedly caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder, broke out at a café in the Las 5 Esquinas neighborhood of Los Guaricanos, Dominican Republic, authorities said.
The Dominican National Police said emergency crews from the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security System responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to the injured.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control, while authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the incident.
Police said additional details will be released as the investigation progresses.
