Santo Domingo. – The National Institute of Transit and Terrestrial Transportation (Intrant) clarified this Monday that the process No. INTRANT-CCC-LPN-2025-0001, regarding the hiring of the company in charge of issuing driver’s licenses, has not been suspended.

The entity explained that the Third Chamber of the Superior Administrative Court (TSA) only postponed the hearing to consider the amparo action filed for next Monday, July 14, this at the express request of the parties involved.

In that context, Intrant reported that it has been decided to postpone the date for receiving bids, as a responsible measure to ensure respect for due process and allow the court to know and decide on the merits of the action filed.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, legality, and the continuity of public procurement processes, in strict compliance with current regulations.
