Hato Mayor Court sentences a man who abused a girl to 10 years in prison

Santo Domingo.- A court in the judicial district of Hato Mayor sentenced a man to ten years in prison for sexually abusing a girl on several occasions, the Public Ministry reported this Monday. According to the prosecution’s file, the events occurred in the home where the minor, ten years of age, resided.

The incident was reported on December 30, 2024, at the Hato Mayor Complaint Reception Center, which subsequently initiated an investigation. The condemned man was arrested a month later, on January 25, 2025, by a court order from the Investigating Court of Hato Mayor. The processed, Luis Alberto Marte Vilorio, must serve the sentence in the public prison of El Seibo.
