Santo Domingo. – The National Police, through the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), arrested a known criminal in the Cansino Adentro sector in the act, when he was caught with 15 electricity meters and four meter cards, allegedly stolen from a residential area in the area.
The detainee is Rony Mora de los Santos (a) Machetico, 39 years old, who was taken to police headquarters by a patrol.
Mora de los Santos was caught on Camino de Cansino street carrying a sack containing the electricity meters, which he had stolen on August 29 from the Brisas del Río residential complex, in the aforementioned sector.
It should be noted that the detainee is a repeat offender in this type of criminal act, so he will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
