“We hope it will be an affable, friendly conversation and that good things can come out of it, as the president’s visit to our city always constitutes,” expressed López, who thanked the support that Abinader, as he said, has provided to Santiago.
Among the legislators present are Robinson Díaz, Nelson Marmolejos, Braulio Espinal, Luis René Taveras, Dilenia Santos, Soraya Suárez, Daisy Díaz, Mateo Espaillat and Dharuelly D’Aza, in addition to Mirna López and Fausto Domínguez, among other PRM congressmen.
The meeting takes place in the context of President Abinader’s decision to temporarily set up his office in Santiago, from where he is carrying out an agenda of meetings with authorities and representative sectors of the province.
The presence of the ruling party deputies at the presidential residence occurs while Santiago concentrates an important part of the president’s government agenda.
