Santo Domingo.- The communicator Ramón Tolentino warned that the messages “kurú” and “1600”, found written in different parts of the house where the incident occurred in which Zeneida Socorro Castillo died and the merengue artist Julián Oro Duro was injured, could have been placed with the intention of misleading investigators.
During his intervention, Tolentino drew attention to the two writings left at the scene. He explained that one of them was written with a felt-tip pen on a wall and referred to “kurú”, while the numbers “1600” were captured on a mirror.

“Since the 1600s are in fashion, I feel that one must be careful (…) it could be a distraction”, the communicator expressed, suggesting that these elements should be analyzed with caution and not automatically assumed as an identification of those responsible.
Tolentino also referred to other elements observed at the scene, including the presence of dried blood on the floor, and raised questions about how long the body might have remained in the place before what happened became known.

His statements come as authorities continue investigations to establish the exact circumstances in which Zeneida Socorro Castillo died and Julián Oro Duro was injured.
