Cassie Ventura, a recognized singer and central figure in the sexual trafficking case against Sean Combs, stated this Wednesday before the court that the rapper gave her 20 million dollars to settle out of court the complaint of rape and physical abuse that she filed in 2023.

The artist had accused Combs of sexually assaulting her in 2018 and of maintaining a pattern of prolonged physical violence. However, the lawsuit was withdrawn just one day after its filing, after reaching a “friendly” agreement with the music producer as well. Until now, the amount agreed upon in that settlement was not publicly known.

Diddy, who appeared in court today wearing a white jersey, listened to Ventura’s testimony alongside his lawyers, while three of his children and his mother were in the audience.

On the other hand, the artist also recounted how in 2018, when they had both broken up, they decided to have dinner together and have what she believed was “a closing conversation”.
