Through this agreement signed at the facilities of Lantica Studios, both parties agreed to the inclusion of 14 films produced by Lantica within the catalog of La Muvie RD, with the aim of extending the useful life of these productions beyond their exhibition in movie theaters and bringing them closer to the public through the digital format.
During the event, Rafael Muñoz, Vice President of Production at Lantica Studios, highlighted the importance of this alliance for the national film industry. “We are signing to include 14 of those films that have already been released in Dominican cinemas, because it is important that the public continues to have the opportunity to see Dominican films after they have gone through their run in cinemas. For us it is a wonderful opportunity for both Lantica and La Muvie that these films can make their online journey, and we are very excited about that,” said Muñoz.

In addition, he announced that his most recent film project, “Juego de Hombres”, will also be released soon on La Muvie RD, thus reinforcing the commitment to exclusive releases of Dominican cinema on the platform. With this agreement, Lantica Studios and La Muvie RD reaffirm their commitment to the dissemination, preservation, and access of Dominican cinema, offering the public a new window to enjoy national productions from anywhere.
