Boston, Massachusetts.- Dominicans residing in different states of United States traveled to Boston, Massachusetts, to attend tonight’s show “Alofoke en el Agganis”, led by businessman and content creator Santiago Matías.

From the early hours of this Saturday, dozens of Dominicans and Latinos began to arrive at the surroundings of the Agganis Arena to be part of the event, conceived by Matías as a show of gratitude to the diaspora audience that supports the projects of Alofoke Media Group.

In the vicinity of the venue, despite the low temperatures, De Último Minuto spoke with a couple of Dominicans who traveled around 15 hours by road from Charlotte, North Carolina, with the aim of not missing the show. The interviewees expressed their enthusiasm for being part of the activity and for having the opportunity to see Santiago Matías up close, whom they consider one of the most influential Dominicans inside and outside the Dominican Republic. “We are very happy. Thanks to the Lord, we came from North Carolina, from Charlotte to the concert only, almost 15 hours driving, but what we did was that we left on Thursday, we stopped for about eight hours, rested, we started yesterday and arrived in Boston,” said one of the attendees when interviewed by De Último Minuto. Dominicans stated that they are loyal followers of Alofoke Media Group productions and that they keep an eye on everything related to Matías and projects like “La Casa de Alofoke”. They even commented, laughing, that they have a “teacher” with phrases popularized by La Fruta, a content creator and winner of the second season of the reality show. They explained that they decided to move from Charlotte because they had not had the opportunity to attend the previous concerts held by Santiago Matías in US territory. Therefore, as soon as they found out about the event in Boston, they purchased their tickets without hesitation. “We hadn’t had the opportunity to come to the concerts made by Santiago in the United States and, since we found out about this one, we bought the tickets right away, because in my case I am a fan of Alofoke because of my wife. I would come home from work and always see her in that. I would say to her: ‘But who is it that you listen to that is only talking and talking?’. So nothing, I got hooked from there and until now I am hooked on Alofoke,” he related. In addition to the host, attendees stated that they expect to enjoy the repertoire of Eddy Herrera and La Perversa, as well as have the opportunity to meet figures from the reality show produced by Matías, including La Gigi, a participant in the first season of “La Casa de Alofoke”. The atmosphere around the Agganis Arena, prior to the concert, reflects the anticipation of Alofoke fans, a night filled with music, entertainment, and the support of the Dominican diaspora for one of the most influential Dominican entrepreneurs inside and outside the country.
