Guerrero Jr. is heading to meet with his teammates from the Dominican team and expressed his enthusiasm for representing the country in the international tournament, highlighting that he arrives motivated and in good physical condition to contribute to the team. The powerful hitter recalled that in the edition of the tournament held in 2023, he was unable to participate due to an injury, a situation that prevented him from fulfilling the dream of competing with the Quisqueyan squad. However, he assured that this time he is completely healthy and ready to be part of the team.
