Santo Domingo. – The closing of the celebration of the 162nd anniversary of the Historic Deed of the Restoration, under the musical platform “¡Long Live the Homeland!!”, will be in Capotillo, Loma de Cabrera, this Sunday, September 7, from 3:00 in the afternoon.

With free admission, the majestic event will bring together iconic stars and a new generation of national music: Fernando Villalona, Wilfrido Vargas, Fefita La Grande, Steffany Constanza, and Chimbala.

This concert for the history, which has the support of President Luis Abinader, Banreservas, the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Capotillo, headed by Mayor Harim Gómez, crowns a successful national tour presented in commemoration of the 162nd anniversary of the Heroic Deed of the Restoration, which brought patriotic awareness, the pride of Dominicanity, culture and family unity to various cities in the country.

“Long Live the Homeland!” presents a multigenerational display of merengue in all its expressions: the international careers of Fernando Villalona and Wilfrido Vargas; the legend of typical merengue Fefita La Grande; the new quality lineage represented by Steffany Constanza; and the urban energy of Chimbala, summoning audiences of all ages from 3 in the afternoon.
