A teenager injures 8 classmates at a Turkish high school

Ankara.- A teenager around 15 years old has stabbed eight of her classmates at a high school in Istanbul, leaving three of them in critical condition, according to authorities, in the sixth incident of this kind in Turkish schools in the last six months.

Local authorities indicated that the attack took place at a religious institute in the Başakşehir district of the Turkish metropolis and that the assailant has been arrested, while all the victims have been hospitalized.

Since last April, ten students and three teachers have died, and 42 people have been injured in shootings at Turkish schools.
