Trump accuses Obama of revealing classified information in response to extraterrestials
Los Ángeles.- El presidente de EE.UU., Donald Trump, accused this Thursday former President Barack Obama of revealing classified information, after he said that extraterrestrials “are real” in a recent podcast interview.
“He gave classified information; he’s not supposed to do that,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on a trip to the state of Georgia.
In an interview on journalist Brian Tyler Cohen’s podcast, Obama accepted a round of rapid-fire questions, in which he was asked if extraterrestrials are real, to which the Democrat nodded, with a brief comment: “They are real, but I haven’t seen them.”
“And they are not being hidden in… What’s it called? Area 51. There are no underground facilities, unless there’s a huge conspiracy and they’re hiding it from the US president,” added the former ruler (2009-2017).
Without giving details, Trump assured that Obama “gave classified information. He made a serious mistake”.
The current U.S. president emphasized that he doesn’t know if extraterrestrials are real or not.
The statements are made after Obama clarified on Instagram that he did not see “evidence” that “extraterrestrials have made contact with us” during his presidency, but made an assumption “because the universe is so vast, that it is likely that there is life out there”.
In 2013, the CIA declassified documents that confirmed the existence of the military base ‘Área 51’, created by order of US President Dwight Eisenhower in the mid-1950s for the testing of the U-2 spy plane, capable of flying at high altitude and covering very long distances.
