Cuba’s harvest began in the very first episode when they scored the first runs in the legs of Cristopher García, who got on base by a walk, and Cristian Aguilera, driven in by a single to left field by José Muñiz, and after seven batters the game was in favor of Cuba 2 to 0. The Cubans managed to keep attacking and, with three unstoppable hits and a walk, they managed to score three more runs, setting the pace for what would be the outcome of the game. Cuban pitcher Joseph Arias handcuffed Aruba’s offense, which managed to score the first run in the fourth inning and then two in the sixth to close the score to 6 to 3.
