Freddy Peralta of the
Milwaukee Brewers reached the mark of
200 strikeouts for the third consecutive season this Monday.

With this achievement, Peralta joins
Pedro Martínez and
Juan Marichal as the only Dominican pitchers with
three or more consecutive seasons surpassing 200 strikeouts. The right-hander born in Moca also shares the distinction with
Mario Soto, who achieved it in the 80s, although not consecutively.

In his 32nd start of the campaign, against the
San Diego Padres, Peralta pitched 4 innings in which he struck out five batters, reaching the round milestone of 200. The right-hander left the game with a 3-2 lead, reaffirming his role as a fundamental piece in Milwaukee’s rotation.
At 29 years old, Peralta maintains an effectiveness of “3.12” in the 2025 season, already adding three consecutive seasons
