The player confirmed that criminals entered his home in Scottsdale while he was participating in the All-Star Game, taking goods valued at more than $400,000.
Among the stolen items are jewelry, luxury watches, technological equipment, and items of great sentimental value. Of particular note is a gold chain that had been gifted to him by his late mother, a piece that Marte considered a personal symbol of his journey and his roots.
