SAN DIEGO — July 27, 2025 — In a demolishing offensive afternoon, Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr. combined to lead the San Diego Padres to a resounding 9-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals, standing out as the offensive engine of a team seeking to gain ground after the All-Star break.
