Indianapolis. – The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game held this Saturday, July 19th, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse was a true offensive spectacle where Team Collier defeated Team Clark with a score of 151-131. Minnesota Lynx forward, Napheesa Collier, was the standout figure of the night, scoring 36 points, setting a record in this type of match and deservedly taking the title of MVP. Indiana Fever star, Caitlin Clark, and Collier were chosen as All-Star captains after leading the popular vote. Clark received the most votes (1,293,526), although a groin injury kept her out of the competition. Even so, she had a key role in the selection of the teams, as did Collier. The festivities kicked off on Friday the 18th with a dominant performance by the New York Liberty players. Sabrina Ionescu won her second three-point contest in three years, while Natasha Cloud took the title in the skills challenge. It’s the first time that two players from the same team have won both events in the same edition.

Injuries Tarnish the Event

Several stars were unable to participate due to injuries. In addition to Clark, Rhyne Howard (knee) and Satou Sabally were out of the game. The replacements were Brittney Sykes, Kayla McBride, and Brionna Jones, selected by WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert.
