MOCA FC ready to debut in the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup

MOCA. – With an impeccable stadium and the illusion of its people, the Moca Fútbol Club declares itself ready to face Mount Pleasant FC of Jamaica, this Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00 p.m. at the Estadio Moca 85, in what will be their first match of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup 2025.

The aurinegro team, under the direction of the Argentinian Jorge Alfonso, participates for the third time in this tournament, where it registers 8 victories, 3 defeats and 5 draws, in addition to achieving a historic third place in 2023. His ranking in this edition came after being crowned champion of the CFU Club Shield 2025 in Trinidad and Tobago. For this commitment, Alfonso confirmed a 23-player squad, highlighting the presence of the Argentine attacker Gustavo Ascona, the club’s top scorer in this tournament with 7 goals in the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and considered one of the most effective forwards in the region. The ticket prices for this first Moca FC match in the Caribbean Cup will be 150 pesos for general admission and 300 pesos in the VIP area. The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup brings together ten Caribbean clubs in search of regional glory and one of the three available tickets for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup. In Group A participate: Moca FC (Rep. Dom.), Mount Pleasant FA (Jamaica), Universidad O&M (Rep. Dom.), Robinhood (Suriname) and Central FC (Trinidad & Tobago).
